Greek term or phrase: D.E.S. (formerly P.D.D.S.)

There are two acronyms I haven't been able to locate for some time now: D.E.S & P.D.D.S. (typically the latter appears in older documents).

I'm sure they both allude to the "Greek Trademarks Office" according to context. But still, it'd be nice to get some more input. Can someone expand these acronyms for me please?

D.E.S.= Dioikitiki Epitropi Simaton (Δ.Ε.Σ. = Διοικητική Επιτροπή Σημάτων)
P.D.D.S.= Protovathmia Dioikisi Dieythynsis Simaton
(Π.Δ.Δ.Σ = Πρωτοβάθμια Διοίκηση Διεύθυνσης Σημάτων)
Both acronyms and their expansion have been confirmed by the Chief Secretary (Mrs Kostena) of the Ministry of Trade and Development - Athens (GR).
Indeed, since the new Law of '94 has come into force, the new acronym "D.E.S." has been applied instead of "P.D.D.S.".
