Η μετονομασία δεν έγινε μόνο στα αγγλικά, αλλά και στα ελληνικά.
Δηλαδή το IFRS είναι το Διεθνή Πρότυπα Χρηματοοικονομικής Πληροφόρησης
Το IAS σημαίνει αυτό που ζητάει η κοπέλα.
Το κείμενό της άλλωστε δεν γράφει ΔΠΧΠ

Τα Διεθνή Λογιστικά Πρότυπα (ΔΛΠ) αποκαλούμενα «International Accounting Standards» (IAS) εκδίδονται από τον «Οργανισμό Διεθνών Λογιστικών Προτύπων» - ΟΔΛΠ ( EN ) [«International Accounting Standards Board» (IASB)] που είναι εγκατεστημένος στο Λονδίνο και στον οποίο θα εκπροσωπείται η Επιτροπή.
