Explanation:
When the time came for a report we believe we had a positive report. Indeed, it's not at all clear what is intended, and this translation preserves the original ambiguity. You could also use my other suggestion in a freer translation: when the time of reckoning came, we believe we measured up well. However, when it's a question of management speak, who knows what they're trying to say?
