agree  Constantinos Faridis: ναι μπορει να ειναι κι ετσι γιατι στα ελληνικα λεει "αυτοπροωθούμενων" ικριωματων

  -> Ευχαριστώ.

agree  Nick Lingris: Though I don't think "ικρίωμα" is a good translation for "gantry", various descriptions of self-launching gantries seem to fit the bill.

  -> I agree that the two words are not faithful translations of one another but, in this case, I think it's what the author means.
