I am having trouble rendering this phrase.
Full context:

actually the "pedagogy" bit is hanging out there - I think it belongs to the next part of the sentence and doe not fit. So my answer is: cross cultural education/training
Finally, along with an admission that they themselves had no idea what they were trying to say there (after the third request and previous rebuttals!!!), I got an answer: h diapolitismiki ekpaidevsi apoteli tin diameso stin ekpedevsi ton politismon kai tin paidagogiki apantisi sto fenomeno tis metanastevsis kai ston tropo sinarpaxis mia mionotitas me mia alli politistiki kai glosiki pliopsifia.
So, Angeliki, you were right on the money:"Therefore, intercultural education is the medium for the education of different cultures and is the pedagogic answer to the ... "
Thank you guys, very much. This project has been nightmarish - as a whole it's been ok (lol I just realised that might be because of the amount of citations - αχ, I'm evil :-) ), but there have been 4-5 instances like this where the Greek is so bad that it throws your head for a loop, and the author can not understand why I am asking for clarification. Anyhow, I've said it before and I have said it to others, that I think the Greek group on here is so much more collegiate than the other lang pairs I participate in, and for that I am truly thankful, and proud :-) (like we need yet another thing to brag about... yes, yes we do!)
Be it easy or not to get an answer from the author, they really must enlighten you on such obscure points, Ioanna. And be our guest, ask as many as you wish. We'll try to help you. That's what we are here for, isn't it?
Both of your interpretations are the first to make sense of all this, but the question remains if that is what they intend-and trust me, getting an answer that makes sense from them is not easy. And they're the author! I have a third request for clarification pending... More to follow, hopefully.
Then how about this: "Therefore, intercultural education is the medium for the education of different cultures and is the pedagogic answer to the ... "
Κι εγώ το σκέφτηκα, but I couldn't find it. In case I didn't go back far enough, here is all of the section:
Intercultural education is cross cultural education?
This is what I was getting, but it doesn't make sense to me:
Intercultural Education is through cultural education and pedagogy an answer to the phenomenon of immigration and to the manner in which a minority can coexist with a different cultural and linguistic majority.
So I've gone back to the client, and their response is "Diamesos, stin ekpaidevsi ton politismon" (verbatim)
But it still doesn't render well or make sense to me entirely:
Intercultural Education is for this intermediary of ??? an answer...
So I guess "cross-cultural education" should cover it, yes?

Thanks again!
Notes to answerer
Asker: Actually the part I am having trouble with is διαμέσου των πολιτισμών εκπαίδευση
Explanation: Ioanna, I think what we need here is the preceding paragraph, because, judging from your client's reply, I feel it's "γι' αυτήν" what you should really clarify. In this way it will make sense. "γι'αυτή" refers to some previous idea. Could you say what that is?
