Without wishing to sound as if we are all members of a "Mutual Appreciation Society", I would like to second Philip's comments and say how appropriate that he made them after a discussion on a subject involving CO-OPeration :)
I'm just delighted to be able to call on the expertise and breadth of knowledge of my fellow professionals when I run into a problem like this. I'm always amazed by how quickly the answers come in. I don't think I've ever been disappointed by the astute contributors to this forum.
In the UK, CO-OP refers to a chain of supermarkets. Building Societies are financial organisations that deal mainly with property - mortgage loans - but also offer savings accounts. If that's what the CO-OP are in Cyprus, then that's the answer, because this document is from Cyprus, as I mentioned in another related question (but not this one - my bad).
I don't know about Greece, but in Cyprus, it definitely stands for "Συνεργατικά" and their logo is the well-known square "CO-OP" sign (with the OP below the CO). I am not 100% sure but I think in England they are known as "Building Societies"
I've just found Συνεργ. Ιδρ. later in the same document. So "collaborating institutions"? There isn't much more context. It's just one item in a column on a tax assessment. Interest from ... etc.
I believe Constantinos is right. My first thought was "συνεργαζόμενα", though. More context?
