The preceding paragraph talks of the accused's mitigating factorys ( good family man, zero criminal record etc etc ) it then says.

"Η εξατομίκευση δεν πρέπει να εκμηδενίζει ή να εξασθενίζει την οποία καταβάλλεται για θωράκιση του κοινωνικού συνόλου από τη σύγχρονη μάστιγα των ναρκωτικών."

I understand the meaning, its along the lines of adjustment, modification etc but I can't think of the proper legal term.
