Οι συνθετικές δραστηριότητες, ναι, είναι "synthesizing". Αλλά οι διαθεματικές δραστηριότητες υποψιάζομαι ότι είναι οι λεγόμενες "cross-curricular", αυτές που ξεφεύγουν από τα πλαίσια ενός μαθήματος και εκτείνονται σε άλλα. Αυτόν τον όρο βλέπω στα βιβλία που διαβάζω τώρα που καταπιάστηκα με τα διδακτικά-παιδαγωγικά. Για την γλώσσα, π.χ. υπάρχει η ιδέα του "language across the curriculum", που αφορά το πώς κάθε διδάσκων, ακόμη και των μαθηματικών ή άλλου μη φιλολογικού μαθήματος, είναι κι αυτός διδάσκων της γλώσσας. "Across the curriculum" --> "cross-curricular".
