περινευρική διήθηση
perineural invasion

Explanation:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Perineural invasion (or involvement) refers to the growth of tumor along the nerve branches present within the prostate. Because the tumor must invade the outer sheath of the nerve (the perineurium) in order to track along the nerve, perineural invasion demonstrates that the tumor has the capacity to infiltrate normal tissue barriers. As the tumor grows and expands it travels along the plane of least resistance which is the path created by the pre-existing nerve. This path may act as a highway, allowing the tumor to escape outside the confines of the prostatic capsule.
