Gujarati term or phrase: a le toh
could be a le tho, i know the a le would mean take this but i don't know the toh bit?
Goldenstat
could you just take this
Explanation:
aa le toh - as I have indicated above, 'could you' is implied, whereas 'just' may be taken to mean an equivalent of 'toh' in this particular context.

It also means 'then'(used in conditional clause after 'if'. if..then). Adv. indeed, verily; certainly; of course, is also used to emphasize a thing - as per the link provided- the Gujarati Lexicon.

It is also used as a conditional clause after 'or' e.g either this or that - aa athava toh te

Hope this helps.

Thats's the catch Goldenstat. Unless one knows the Gujarati script it would not be possible to refer to the lexicon or for that matter to any such source. My providing the reference link was an attempt to help out the community as a whole. I suggest you work around that problem by duplicating the script with the help of a transliterating software. But then, what is Proz for? :)

just take this

Explanation:
'a' sounds like 'aa' like 'a' in the word 'africa' means 'this'

'le' sounds like le in lexicon means 'take'.

'toh' sounds like 'toh' in tofee and means just or emphasising strongly on giving something as in this case..
