i don't know what this means but the lai is pronounced like bhai

If it is a statement then it could be dont take the card.here the 'lai' is pronounced as 'ley' like in 'level'.

but if it is a question or a wonder and if 'lai' sounds like bhai or 'laayi' then it means (she) did not bring the card or in case of a question (to a female) did you not bring the card.
