English translation:સ્વચ્છંદ = Uncontrolled, self controlled, wild, independent.
Explanation:
સ્વચ્છંદ = સ્વૈર સ્વૈરાચારી સ્વાભાવિક જંગલી સ્વેચ્છાથી

The Sanskrit --> Gujrati dictionary at my end says so. As far as exact expected meaning is concern, please refer to context. Will you? As this forum is of the translator and not the philosopher, we may not able to give you exact term as I doubt how many people have philosophical approach on this forum.

Notes to answerer
Asker: In my opinion, the right answer could be self-willed, or someone governed by his own likes and dislikes. The relevant context is that this is the biggest impediment on the path of liberation - Not following the instructions of the Guru, and acting according to his own likes and dislikes. Thanks for taking the time out to answer

agree  Ahmed Girach: uncontrolled will be appropriate answer as "swchandi chokro" means uncontrolled boy. This world has implied meaning of a swchandi person harms other so uncontrolled is better answer in other replies this meaning can not be imparted.
