Haitian-Creole term or phrase: veye yo fanm dayiti
It's a painting of three Haitian women who are all looking into eternity. All three women seem to have a serene facial expression.

I don't know the artist...the painting was a gift.

Thanks
sj
Haitian women, look out for them!
Explanation:

This appears to be the title of the painting, and seems to describe the mood of the women.

I would say:

" Haitian women on the outlook "
" Vigilant Haitian women "

If it is a quote, it can be construed as an interjection, as well, and the following suggestions do account for the use of the plural pronoun "yo":

> Haitian women, look out for them!
> Women, be careful with them!
> Haitian women, be alert, be vigilant!

Hope that helps ! :)
