Hebrew to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Accounting
Hebrew term or phrase: כלכלה
In a company spreadsheet, in a list of expense items (like office supplies, communication, attorneys, software...) CALCALA (כלכלה) also appears. What is the best way to translate this?

another suggestion in case כלכלה is a short form of דמי כלכלה . Please see if it fits your context: SUBSISTENCE ALLOWANCE

דמי כלכלה (subsistence allowance)
תשלום שניתן לעובד כפיצוי על הוצאות קיום שנגרמו לו עקב עבודתו, למשל עקב עבודת שעות נוספות. התקשי"ר, למשל, מעניק דמי כלכלה לעובד ביום שבו הועסק לפחות שתי שעות נוספות, וכן לעובד במשמרת שלישית שלא סופקה לו ארוחת לילה.

Business Expense = usually when you travel, dining out, food, car rental and refreshments for meetings you have in-house
Office Supplies = copy paper, envelopes, white out, supplies are things that you use up, things that run out. Ink pens, toner.
Office Expense = coffee, flowers, bottled water. Things you need to use that are not really supplies.
