Moreover, pretentiousness is not called for. The proper formulation would have been simply: Ours is a three-fold credo - X, Y and Z.

The point is that the Hebrew construction is wrong. He tells us what his credo or ethos \"is based on\" - and if that is all we know, then the question remains, what is this credo that is \"based on\" X Y and Z? |

You need 'enoshit' in Hebrew (otherwise it might mean 'company'), but not in English.
'Ethos' is the current buzzword in this field. There is no exact Hebrew equivalent, so 'ani maa'min' (which really means 'credo', but is somewhat misapplied here) is often used instead in Israeli texts. I translate this kind of text from AE to Hebrew all the time...
You can also say: established on three foundations. In fact, the more pretentious the better ... :-)

Ethos, even if it is 'in', is not correct; it means, "the characteristic spirit of a culture, era, or community," not a statement of beliefs. "Mushtet" can be "founded on" or "based on". "Yesod" can be "base", "foundation" or "principle", not just "element".
