Hebrew to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general) / הפצה ושיווק? | | Hebrew term or phrase: שיווק | I'm a bit confused when it comes to denoting that a company is the "משווק" of a certain product e.g. cars.
In Hebrew the frequently used term is משווק which is "marketer" but as far as I know (at leas in the US) one talks about the "distributor" (e.g Honda's distributor in Israel).
What would be the correct term in English? |

| | English translation:distribution | Explanation: I would always use "distributor" for the company that imports and sells cars in Israel. If the company is not the actual importer and "main distributor" then I would refer to them as a "dealer" and they have "dealership" in a certain make. |
