ליקוט של שאריות. איסוף של פריטים מפה ומשם שאיכותם אינה ברורה.

בגורן וביקב מתבצע תהליך עיבוד המזון: בגורן דשים את שיבולי החיטה וביקב דורכים את הענבים. לאחר שמסתיים התהליך, עדיין אפשר למצוא בגורן וביקב מעט שאריות ראויות למאכל.

מקור הביטוי הוא בספר מלכים, בסיפור המצור שהטיל בן-הדד מלך ארם על שומרון:
