I think that צמוד קרקע is an Hebrew (Israeli) invention. As far as I know Detached House, or Single Family house describes similar type of houses. I think that detached house is the better option.

Explanation:
The standard term in real estate would be "single family home."

All of the other answers are correct (except for single story, as that isn't necessarily so), and single family houses are by definition "detached."
