Hebrew term or phrase: יש לי שאלה מסוג שונה
I am translating a court document and my question is regarding the document's reference to the petitioners.
The document talks about 2 petitioners,
1 'מבקש מס and 1 'מבקשת מס.
How would you indicate the male and female forms throughout the document since in English it is simply "petitioner 1 and 2"?

Explanation:
This is a standard problem when moving between languages that differ in this respect. E.g. if the E says Petitioner 1, what would you use in H - oter 1 or oteret 1? (by the way: mevakesh is the wrong term; it's oter).
At least in this direction, you have no difficult choices to make.
Furthermore, the names would be listed on the front page, so the reader can refer to that page if the gender needs to be ascertained (it isn't always, and even then - the context usually makes it clear: 'petitioner 1 married petitioner 2, who kept beating her' or 'who kept cheating him').
