Hebrew to English translations [PRO] Medical - Medical (general) / neurology | | Hebrew term or phrase: החזרים חולניים | This is a part of a physical examination. The patient is said to not have any החזרים חולניים.
Literally that is "sick reflexes". But what is the preferred medical term? Abnormal reflexes? Something else? |

| | abnormal / pathological deep tendon reflexes | Explanation: I have found, that some physicians/institutions in Israel use their "own brand" of medical terminology. Israel being such a melting pot, medical backgrounds vary to a great degree.
It is not "wrong" to say
החזרים חולניים
but I agree that it is not "commonly" used.
It has the same connotation / implication as saying:
החזרים פתולוגיים
החזרים לא תקינים
OR
abnormal deep tendon reflexes
pathological deep tendon relfexes
