agree  Ron Armon: It's the translation that Babylon uses (http://milon.g.co.il/targum/טוען רבני), but much more persuasive - The mighty "Moses" Legal Dic concurs too!

neutral  Ron Armon: I also meant to suggest that myself, and it IS in use, but I must go with the "Moses" Legal Dictionary, that states otherwise...

  -> It's a close call, but I couldn't bring myself to write the word "pleader." I get the feeling it's preferred by publications like Haaretz and Tikkun, where the editors have never seen the inside of a beit din.
