You got me reading... so here's my process: 20:57 Nov 22, 2010
According to the Hebrew Academy, חלקה is parcel and according to Babylon, parcel = מגרש; it also says Parcel = "a parcel of land: Brit. 'allotment', N. Amer. 'lot', 'plot'.
In an older Kudoz it is suggested that:
migrash = lot; chelka = block; gush = subdivision - but I think it is incorrect, block = גוש.
Elsewhere I found: "Plot Plan = 'A top view of the finished house and landscape orientation.'"
To sum, in my opinion, it isn't plot (too small - house part only), it isn't block (too urban), and I really don't think it's subdivision. I'm running out of space, so I'll add another entry... |
