n/a Explanation: You would not translate the acronym. Rather, you would add the millennium to the number. For example, תשס"ח לפ"ק simply becomes 5768 (the current year in the Hebrew calendar). The convention, called פרט קטן, is to drop the 5000 and just write the 768. I have never seen anything in English but the full four digit year, obviating the need for פרט קטן. |
