Bus/Financial - Advertising / Public Relations / advertising | | Hungarian term or phrase: számolócédula | Képjegyzéket fordítok egy könyvhöz. Az illusztrációk közül sok "számolócédula" van - ezek korabeli (19 század második fele) reklámok. Különböztetni kellene a számolócédulát a reklámlaptól, mert olyan is szerepel.
Mivel a listában majdnem minden számolócédula italt v. üdítőt reklámoz (Unicum, Hubertus Pezsgő - igen, volt olyan is - stb.) felmerült bennem, hogy a számolócédula nem lenne az a papír, amit ragasztanak magára az üvegre?
Egyelőre "advertising flyer" lett belőle. |

Ahogy a referencia alatt is szerepel már, eredeti funkciója a reklámhordozás volt, míg másik hasznos tulajdonságát (hogy a hátoldala üres volt) a pincérek tudták előszeretettel kiaknázni.
Én az "advertising slip" fordítást javaslom.
"A kor másik fontos hirdetőeszköze a számolócédula, melyet kiadóik, a reklámozók nem kizárólag a saját üzletükben alkalmaztak, hanem minden olyan "boltosnak" odaadták, aki hajlandó volt azt használni. A számolócéduláknak eredendően két típusát különböztetjük meg: az egyik szinte egy parányi plakát – van is cég, amely grafikai plakátját a számolócédulán is megjeleníti –, a másik típus a reklámcélokat is szolgáló céges levélpapírra emlékeztet. A számolócédula a reklám viszonylag korai változata, a XIX. század utolsó harmadának nagy találmánya, mely fénykorát a századfordulón élte. Reklám volt a kézbe, ugyanis a maga idejében szinte mindenkit elért, hiszen üres hátoldalán adott össze a pincér, a kereskedő, de sokszor jegyzetpapírként is használták. Előlapja maga volt a csoda! A számolócédulákat a díszítőgrafika sokfélesége jellemzi, alkotóik között a kor jeles és névtelen festőit, grafikusait találjuk, kivitelük nem egy esetben nyomdatechnikai remekmű, egyidejűleg egy képes történelemkönyv is összeállítható belőlük."
