Hungarian term or phrase: kártyatársaság logójával ellátott elfogadóhely
a szöveg szerint: "a hitelkártya vásárlásra vagy készpénzfelvételre felhasználható a kártyatársaság logójával ellátott elfogadóhelyeken".
Gondolom, a kártyatársaság lehet pl. American Express, Mastercard, Visa etc.
Tehát a kártyatársaság és az elfogadóhely angol megfelelőjét keresem. Előre is köszönöm a javaslatokat.

Mint ahogy itt is láthatjuk:

Debit Cards

b. BANCS ATMs

c. Visa enabled ATMs

Debit Card looks similar to a credit card, bearing a Visa logo, and can be used wherever the card's brand name is displayed.

Míg a magyar nagyon kényelmes és csak kártyatársaságot ír, angolul pontosabban kell meghatároznunk és fontos, hogy az elfogadásra is utaljunk.

neutral  Katalin Horvath McClure: A szövegben ott van, hogy "hitelkártya", úgyhogy a debit nem kéne szerintem.//Nem értem a válaszmegjegyzést. A kérdezett mondat egyértelműen hitelkártyára utal, az credit card. A debit card más, mint tudod. A kérdezett mondat egy adott kártyára vonatkozik

  -> Igazad van, hogy szerepel a hitelkártya, de a debit krátyák rohamos terjedésével a név is igen elterjedt különösen az USA-ban és már különbséget tesznek a használók és így pontosabb lesz a tájékoztatás.

Elnézést, korrigálnék: a "with" helyett tényleg sokkal szebb a többiek által javasolt "displaying" kifejezés; én csak a két kérdéses szóra koncentráltam a javaslat megadásakor.

neutral  Katalin Horvath McClure: Ezzel az a probléma, hogy itt készpénzfelvételről is szó van, az pedig ATM-et jelent, és az szerintem nem "merchant".

  -> Nem feltétlenül ATM; készpénzfelvételre is lehetőség van egyes kereskedőknél (a pénztárnál fizetés mellett vagy helyett kp-t vesz fel a kártyabirtokos). Esetleg érdemes egyeztetni a megbízóval a pontosítást illetően ("merchants and ATMs").
