Leht, hogy az ürge tudta a történet eredetét, csak nem akart magyarázkodni. Én 6 éves koromban ugyanígy hallottam Vadölő történetét egy szép nyári este, gyerekkorom legjobb barátnőjének apjától. Ő sem mondta meg nekünk, hogy mi a történet eredete, és nem emlékezett mindenre pontosan. Két évvel később, amikor elolvastam a könyvet, kérdőre vontam az eltérésekért. Most szégyellem magam érte, mert én nem tudnám a felét sem elmondani.
Egyébként az adott célra jó a szó szerinti fordítás - cataract smith. Az angolok nagy C-S betűvel írnák.
