Szerintem mindkét vonatkozásban a middle-rank a leggyakoribb kifejezés angolul a középmezőnyre. Középmezőny beli pedig middle-ranking. Néha elhagyják a kötőjelet.
"...a survey among the middle ranks of political parties carried out throughout Europe"
"the financial performance of middle-ranking football clubs"
Ennél is gyakoribb azonban, hogy nemes egyszerűséggel csak a "middle" szót használják (be/rank/place stb.) first - in the middle - last. |
