Kedves Kérdező, nincs etalon. Nem lehet ilyen nagy általánosságban precíz meghatározásokat megadni, mert az adott megbízás természetétől függően többféle elnevezést kell alkalmazni angolul. Nem mindegy, hogy például jogi képviselet, építőipari alvállalkozói szerződés, képviselet, klinikai vizsgálat, esetleg egyéb a megbízás tárgya. Az sem mindegy, hogy cég vagy magánszemély a megbízó.

A megbízó lehet például: originator, principal, sponsor, contracting authority, client... és még sok más.
A megbízott lehet például: agent, contractor, representative, person authorized... stb.
