Explanation:
Egyetértek Katalin megjegyzésével: az adott szövegkörnyezet alapján a környezet károsító hatásáról van szó, nem pedig a környezetet károsító hatásról (környezetkárosító hatás).
Jó lenne a teljes mondatot látni, a forrásszövegből pontosan idézve.
Ami biztos, hogy a környezet általi angolul ENVIRONMENTAL. Az is bitos, hogy a káros angolul HARMFUL. A hatás pedig EFFECT, esetleg IMPACT.
Tulajdonképpen a környezeti tényezők káros hatása éri az őssejteket, azaz the harmful effect (or impact) of environmental factors.
Az alábbi linken egy tanulmány olvasható angolul, amelynek címe "Environmental effects on cell composition", és az alpontok az egyes tényezőket taglalják. A szöveget a hatás/tényező közötti különbség kedvéért is küldöm, alátámasztandó, hogy Linguafranca javaslata miért pontatlan fordítás.
