Hungarian term or phrase: lakhatasi helyzet/lakashelyzet
Dear fellow translators, I have come accross this term in a report of a conference, where the someone would speak of the unsolved "lakhatasi helyzet" in Hungary. For me it would make more sense to speak of "lakashelyzet"/housing situation, but since the conference was about immigration, it may well have something to do with the undeveloped system of granting permits to foreigners to reside in Hungary. But I have doubts, any response will be greatly appreciated.

Explanation:
I think you might be right about that, in which case I would translate it as "unresolved residence issues".

Thank you! I think this would cover both Hungarian terms, so I will use it, thanks again.
