Primer ellátást nyújtanak azok a szakorvosok, akiknek közvetlen kapcsolatuk van a betegekkel (szemész, sebész stb.), az egyéb szakorvosok (radiológusok, aneszteziológusok) támogatják a kezelést. Szekunder ellátás a kórházi ellátás is. Az itt mûködõ szakorvosok többnyire önállóak, szerzõdésesek
