notified body Explanation: I have recently translated a directive concerning certificatio (notified bodies). In my opinion, it is not a very good term, but...it's offically approved by the EC. Description: We offer CE marking assistance to US manufacturers of medical devices. Specifically, we represent GMED, a European notified body based in Paris, that provides ISO 9000, EN 46000, and medical device directive certifications. Our US-based auditors have experience with US and European safety requirements and with large as well as start-up companies. GMED stands for French Institue for Evaluation of Medical Devices (also GMed) , or in French:Groupement pour l'Evaluation des Dispositifs Medicaux. www.devicelink.com/consult/e/e028.html - |
