the calling of names Explanation: This must be a game of some sort, possibly to make sure everyone will not dance all the dances with the same person. Since so little detail is given I can only assume that the author expected the readers to know the game. The dictionary meaning of "nafnakall" is "the calling of names" as in a vote or head count. (I'll check a reference book I have at home when I get off from work.) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2004-01-14 19:34:57 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Sorry, didn\'t find any references to this game. |
