Asker: Thanks for you answer. Actually, I found out that the corresponding English term is "action level", as in: "A concentration that, when reached, triggers public water systems to take treatment steps if the action level is exceeded in more than 10 percent of tap-water samples." (Wikipedia et al.) Maybe this is what you meant by your answer?
