my wife is not content Explanation: Hmmm! I cant make it all out, but perhaps I can help a little. This is the first time I have seen ridha other than in the phrases "ridha Allah" and "keridhaan Allah". I understand this as blessing/contentment, although I am no scholar of Islam. On this basis, the first half of the sentence seems to concern the case that he neglects his wife six months and she is not happy about it and reports it to the religious court ... I hope this helps, Good luck! |

and my wife does not accept this situation Explanation: Could it be something like: and my wife does not accept this situation (referred to in the first clause) See Faud Yahya's comments on ridha: --- approval, acceptance, consent, assent, satisfaction, etc. The word RIDHA is written or Both are correct. The exact meaning depends on context. The context you provided ("not wife is not ridha") did not read like standard English, so I am not sure what it means. In any case, the general meaning of RIDHA hovers around the idea of approval, acceptance, consent, assent, satisfaction, etc. Fuad References: Al-Mawrid ---- Thank you, Faud http://www.proz.com/pros/1269 |
