No it is not called 'runjung angin'.
In fact, I didn't think of 'wind sock' when I guess 'runjung angin'. I only thought of vent holes of conic shape.

I wonder if my guess is wilder than yours, Catherine. 'tanjung angin' seems to be a place name or a group of wind turbines. Certainly these two guesses hanve nothing to do with carpentry and door structure.

IMHO, informed guesses, i.e. those based on some knowledge and/or research, are considerably more helpful than wild guesses. BTW, there is an acronym for a wild guess, which I think originated in the American military, i.e., SWAG (simple wild-ass guess).

I don't think so, Hipyan. There are no hits on 'runjung angin' in Google, so that can't be what was intended. If you are thinking of the 'wind sock' that you see at airports/heliports, that is usually called 'alat penunjuk arah mata angin' (see http://peralatan-safety.indonetwork.hk/1766199/wind-sock-ala... Do they call it 'runjung angin' in Padang?
If 'runjung angin' were the term the asker is seeking, it would show up in a Google search, probably in a Daftar Harga Satuan Upah document. I still wish the asker would clarify!

I guess there was a typo; 'tunjung' should be 'runjung' (kerucut, cone). So 'runjung angin' = 'wind cone'.
My guess is that the shape of the vent holes are conic.

I can't find any reference to 'tunjung angin'. As far as I can tell, 'tunjung' means 'lotus' or 'water lily'. HOWEVER, 'tanjung angin' is 'windfarm'. Could this be what the asker meant? I do hope he will either provide a reference, or tell us whether he has misspelled the word.

I can't find 'tunjung angin' anywhere. The word 'tunjung' refers to a lotus or water lily. I suspect a misspelling. Can anyone clarify?
