It is not necessarily "inflammation" which might be something like "peradangan". There can be inflammation without swelling and presumably swelling without inflammation.
Part of the problem here is that an abcess is not just a swelling but an inflamed swelling and not just an inflamed swelling but an inflamed swelling with a discharge.
Nevertheless, all "pembengkakan" literally means is a swelling. |
