s. here after Explanation: As a native Italian I shall try to explain the Italian text - unfortunately in English because I don't know Spanish! I hope it will help: It is a general context of fight against sensuality. This fight is looked at as if it were a "real" fight, and thus: Se fia = should it happen that il senso = sensuality schieri le squadre dei piaceri = puts on the field Pleasure/Leisure/Satisfaction as its warriors sol si vince la pugna = la battaglia si vince solo = the battle can be won only all'or che d'accettarla si ripugna = quando si rifiuta di accettarla = when you don't accept it ... Glory increases when you fear such a competition ... and victory comes when you escape The general meaning is that for fighting against vice it can be better to fly away that to fight directly, otherwise you might succumb to it. |
