كفالة = garanzia -pegno - cauzione - deposito.

Explanation:
الكفالة المصرفية كما عرفها القانون المدني هي عقد بمقتضاه يكفل المصرف تنفيذ التزام بأن يتعهد للدائن بأن يفي بهذا الالتزام، إذا لم يف به المدين نفسه. ومتى أوفى المصرف جاز له الرجوع على المدين المكفول بما وفّاه عنه.
الكفالة المؤقتة تصدر للدخول في المناقصات، أما الكفالة النهائية فهي عند تنفيذ عقد أو مشروع.

[dal lat. tardo fideiussio -onis, der. di fideiubere «garantire, essere mallevadore», comp. di fides «fede» e iubere «comandare»]. – Garanzia di carattere personale mediante la quale un soggetto (fideiussore) si obbliga nei confronti del creditore a soddisfare in via accessoria l’obbligazione assunta dal debitore principale; nasce da un contratto stipulato tra il fideiussore e il creditore, e può anche stabilire che la garanzia copra non l’intero debito ma solo una parte di esso (f. parziale) oppure che la garanzia sia prestata per tutte le obbligazioni presenti o future del debitore (f. omnibus o generale).
