Angela Arnone (asker): 6:14pm May 18, 2005: You're not taking me off-track at all - your thought processes are identical to mine. I thought "alimentare" was "contribute" but it didn't make sense in the context, whereas "update" does!

Explanation:
odd indeed

"alimentare un fondo" means to contribute to a fund.

but in this case they are specifically saying "alimenta 'in' contabilità" I can only think of "administering" or "managing"
which would include any kind of proceeds, interests that would be credited to the funds....;-)
