balance due on contributions (social security tax)

Explanation:
Pagamento a conguaglio is basically balance due - or the sum that has to be paid to even out the payments that you made insofar, compared to the sum of money requested (based on a certain salary percentage) from the fund. They usually calculate the amount still to be paid and send a letter at the end of the year.

sorry, the letter is sent as soon as they close the financial year - esercizio, at that is in Feb-Apr next year
