Some sort of depreciation allowance, but I cannot find it and Eurodicautom is unavailable.

Assets can be depreciated at different rates (20% per annum etc.). That is part one.

Perhaps machinery could also deteriorate faster than is assumed useful life

Here the word obsolescence addresses "technical deterioration". Physical deterioration or obsolescence?
