Italian to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Accounting / Airlines and tourism
Italian term or phrase:Intermediazione voli
A caption in the notes to the accounts. It is a cost. The Group actually runs holiday hotels and villages and it also has a charter airline. The obvious answer would be something like agency fees/commissions paid to travel agencies for getting the customers, but the item that follows is "Commissioni passive ad intermediari" sì proprio quello :-( . Anybody got any bright ideas? This is going to get carefully analysed.
Yep it has just come to me. When they did the consolidation they cust copied the line captions one from the airline company and one from the holiday company instead of adding them. Maybe I should take this down.
just an idea - could it be that the former refers only to commission paid to agencies for flights, whereas the latter refers to commissions paid for other intermediation services (e.g. hotel reservations, etc.)?
