Italian term or phrase: Bilancio di sede

parent company balance sheet
Explanation:
I think a headquarters is a building, so it wouldn't have its own balance sheet.

It was actually parent company, as opposed to the subsidiaries. "Sede" was, simply put, improperly used (the customer even admitted the mistake... which is a rare thing indeed at least in my experience

agree  Peter Cox: but financial statements, not balance sheet

  -> Yes, you're quite right.

neutral  Valentina Viganò: mmm, a parent company could very well have different headquarters (i.e. Rome or Milan office) it's true, but it isn't impossible for them to have separate statements, and sede does mean HQ, otherwise it would read "societa' madre"

Peter Cox added a comment about the right translation to "bilancio" being "financial statements" and not "balance sheet". Indeed, I researched a little more and interestingly "bilancio" in Italian is a "false friend" to "balanço" in Brazilian-Portuguese. What I mean is that "balanço", in Portuguese, would really be "balance sheet" but in Italian it does seem to be "financial statements", a bigger concept since the "stato patrimoniale" (balance sheet) is part of the "bilancio" (financial statements) for Italian.

So, I will correct my answer. If Valentina wants to withdraw her "agree", I understand.

Please, asker, consider then my answer as being:
