back-dated value date


Explanation:
My bank which is also my customer once did this for me. They lost one invoice and I got paid a few months late. So they back-dated the value date to the date of the invoice. That way I got an extra few months interest on the amount. Interest runs from the value date, whcih is what the value date is all about,
