Italian to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Accounting | | Italian term or phrase: bolla a storno | In a procedure concerning invoice management, the following are activities performed by the company's warehouses.
- Stampa in automatico di bolle a storno
- A chiusura della giornata, preparazione di DDT sulla base delle informazioni delle bolle a storno.
Now, aside from my confusion as I thought that DDTs were introduced in place of the bolla, I am presuming that bolla a storno is a delivery note issued to cancel a previously issued delivery note. Is there a more concise term for that type of delivery note? |

| | return delivery note | Explanation: I think you're right: bolle a storno is referring to a note cancelling/ reversing a previous delivery note, not just transfer or shipping
Also, if you google around you'll see that in Italian, bolle is still widely used as a general substitute for DDT.
my doubt is that "return" is more restrictive than "storno"..
still, I think you have to somehow indicate the concept of Storno in the translation
