Italian term or phrase: non ammette leggerezze
Questo cliente ha preparato dei testi pubblicitari in inglese, ricalcati su quelli italiani, e mi ha chiesto di revisionarli.

La frase è: "L'etichettatura è uno degli aspetti più critici della logistica e del confezionamento, e non ammette leggerezze", intendendo che bisogna usare sistemi affidabili e precisi.

La sua proposta "labelling ... admits no thoughtlessness" non mi piace, ma non mi viene in mente nessuna soluzione brillante per un testo pubblicitario.

Any suggestions?

-> Yes, I first thought of "not to be played around with" and things like that and then this popped into my head and it surprised just how close in both meaning and in terms of literal words the two were.

Labelling is not to be trifled with

Explanation:
Got to it remembering that not to be trifled with is in French: ne pas prendre a la legere (leggerrezza). Trifle is in fact prendere alla leggera (Babylon). This does not look bad.

(labelling) cannot be improvised

Explanation:
Ximena's "not an option" suggestion is quite attractive.

"Improvisation is not an option" is effective if you want to split the sentence in two.
