A contract for supplying a travelling competitive event lists this item as one of the equipment requirements. I can find no English equivalent for "polionda". Here is an extract from the list:

• 50 mt banner in PVC totali per decoro denominato BANNER
• No 20 cavalletti in polionda, personalizzati 2x0,9 mt

Any help much appreciated.

polionda/correx/coroplast/fluteboard (corrugated polypropilene) stands

Explanation:
Hello!

polionda is corrugated polypropylene
AND
it is also a registered mark
http://www.polionda.it/fimir_eng.swf

So, due to this, you could choose to leave it as it is, i.e. 'Polionda'

But, since polionda/Polionda, is more generally used (as its foreigner counterparts, Correx, Coroplast, Pryplak) to define the boards/sheets of corrugated PP

you could also use the UK registered mark that (just as like polionda) is commonly used to name the corrugated PP sheets, i.e.
Correx (correx)
http://www.cordek.com/docs/Environmental Assessment - Correx...

If you give a look in the English speaking sites you rarely will find 'polionda' but You'll see a lot of hits with Correx, correx, corrugated polypropylene.

Since I am not sure that in your text they are specifically referring to registered product Polionda, I guess that the best thing would be using

corrugated polypropylene
or, better,
corrugated PP

anyway
correx
would probably be better undestood :)

see

Correx Board
Correx board is a fluted polypropylene used in the creation of advertising signs and point of sale signs for indoor and outdoor use. Common uses include estate agency boards and point of sale displays. The material is strong yet light. Correx board comes in various thicknesses for use in different situations. For outdoor use we would normally recommend lamination to ensure longer useful life
http://www.banners4less.co.uk/pages/self-adhesive-vinyl.htm

Coroplast™, a plastic sign board, is the name of a special corrugated plastic available virtually everywhere. It is just like cardboard only made out of plastic. It comes in 4 foot by 8 foot sheets in multiple colors and is 4 ml thick. (You can also get it in 10 ml thickness if you want industrial strength, but we don't recommend it. It's not necessary.) Coroplast is actually the name of a company and COROPLAST™ is also the name of their main product.

In Australia, Coroplast is called Corflute. In the UK, Coroplast is also known as Corex, Coroflute, Cadflute, Fluteboard, or Correx. In Brazil, it is Polionda. Basically, this stuff is like cardboard, only it's corrugated plastic instead of paper! The name of it might be Coro-anything! For additional UK sources, check this thread on the Cavy Cages Forum.
