"I luoghi dello shopping sono specchio e anima della nostra quotidianità. Rappresentano il modo con cui ci relazioniamo con le altre persone, con gli oggetti..."

Meaning is quite clear although I have never really heard anything phrased quite like this before...I am trying to find a nice way to put this yet I am struggling. Perhaps some of you can help...

Rather than literally mirror and soul, I see these two words as meaning and fitting best for English language purposes. I have found two alternative ways of expressing this idea:

"Shopping centres are the reflection and the spirit of our everyday life"

OR

"Shopping centres reflect, and give life to, our everyday life."

The body that one sees in the mirror. The soul that shows through the expression of feelings and daily motions and attitudes.
