Italian to English translations [PRO] Art/Literary - Advertising / Public Relations / glossary/definitions | | Italian term or phrase: specchio e anima | "I luoghi dello shopping sono specchio e anima della nostra quotidianità. Rappresentano il modo con cui ci relazioniamo con le altre persone, con gli oggetti..."
Meaning is quite clear although I have never really heard anything phrased quite like this before...I am trying to find a nice way to put this yet I am struggling. Perhaps some of you can help...

| | reflection and spirit / reflect and give life to | Explanation: Rather than literally mirror and soul, I see these two words as meaning and fitting best for English language purposes. I have found two alternative ways of expressing this idea:
"Shopping centres are the reflection and the spirit of our everyday life"
OR
"Shopping centres reflect, and give life to, our everyday life."
