Rachel Fell: 9:25am May 21, 2005: Hello kpi: I think the point here is that it bears flowers on both spurs (side shoots) and shoot tips: acc. to my RHS book: "Apricots fruit on shoots made in the previous summer and on short spurs produced on older wood." Twigs are merely "rametti". : ) -

Ho fatto delle ricerche approfondite per mia curiosità personale, perché sono un'appassionata di giardinaggio e mi diletto da poco a curare, a livello totalmente dilettantistico, un piccolo frutteto con varietà antiche.
Credo che il "crown spur" sia il mazzetto di maggio, o dardo, e la shoot tip sia la gemma apicale in generale (non necessariamente a fiore). Sospetto che dardi e brindilli siano semplicemente "spurs and tips", visto che il brindillo è un rametto corto che porta sull'apice una gemma a fiore. Comunque, cerca cerca è venuto fuori questo glossario che potrebbe esserti comunque utile.
